I was commissioned by South Ayrshire Council/ Ayr Renaissance to deliver a tour for families as part of a series of architectural events, I was joined by a large group of people and took them on a guided tour of the area which was covered by the Ayr Townscape Heritage Initiative, pointing out architectural details and projects which were grant aided, together with a historical tour of the town. Everyone received an Ayr sketchbook to take away, and built up drawing skills around the tour, and also got a peek into the less well known architectural gems of the area.
